Subham is an Associate Partner with the Firm’s Mumbai office. He has more than a decade of experience covering a vast spectrum of practices. He has been previously associated with a reputed law firm in Mumbai.
Subham specialises in domestic and cross-border corporate matters, with a special focus on acquisitions, joint ventures, asset and business sale, commercial contracts, corporate structuring and restructuring, corporate compliance and strategic advisory. Over his career, he has advised prominent start-ups, well-known VC / PE funds and listed / unlisted companies across many sectors including financial services, logistics, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, media, IT / ITes, bio-technology, food and beverages, e-commerce etc.
Additionally, he has also advised companies and financial institutions on debt funding transactions, project financing, external commercial borrowing, overseas direct investment, issue of listed and unlisted debentures and loan syndication documents.

- Represented an onshore private equity fund for investment in a resident start-up, in fintech sector, by way of a primary subscription in series B funding round.
- Represented a resident manufacturing company, involved in food and beverages sector, in raising funds from around 15 investors (including category I AIFs, corporates and individuals both residents and non-residents) by way of primary issuance in a pre-series A funding round.
- Represented a resident company for an asset purchase transaction with another resident manufacturing company.
- Represented a resident start-up, in SAAS sector, in their series A fund raise.
- Represented a private equity fund, based in Singapore, in relation to their investment in a resident start-up, in proptech sector, by way of a primary subscription in series E funding round.
- Represented a private equity fund, based in Singapore, in relation to their investment in a resident start-up, in edutech sector, by way of a primary subscription in a series H funding round.
- Represented a private equity fund, based in Cayman Islands, in relation to their seed round investment in a resident start-up, in a climate tech platform.
- Represented a resident pharmaceuticals company in raising funds from around 38 investors (including corporates and individuals both residents and non- residents) by way of primary issue in a series B funding round.
- Represented a resident company for an asset sale transaction on a going concern basis.
