Ahetesham Ahmed A. Thaver is an Associate Partner with ALMT Legal. Ahetesham began working with ALMT Legal as a paralegal whilst he was pursuing his law degree in 2015. His expertise in Labour and Employment law has been largely derived from advising several multinational companies on all aspects of Indian Labour and Employment law, which include matters relating to employee disputes, employment documentation including structuring company policies, workforce restructuring including implementing terminations and closure of undertaking, ESOPs, data privacy laws and other employment advisory matters. Ahetesham regularly advises clients on laws relating to prevention of sexual harassment at workplace, anti-bribery and corruption, conducting workplace investigations and is often appointed as the investigation officer to investigate misconduct and violations of company policies.
Besides his Labour and Employment practice, Ahetesham has experience in handling high stake commercial disputes, arbitrations and white collar crime matters and regularly represents clients before various forums. Ahetesham has also assisted various clients to registration of trade marks in India as well as several other jurisdictions and also represented clients in opposition proceedings. Ahetesham also has the experience in advising clients on various types of visas and other immigration requirements.
