Vishal has been in the legal profession since 2004 and is an integral part of the firm’s corporate M&A, real estate and banking practices. Vishal is an experienced lawyer with wide knowledge of Indian corporate, real estate and banking laws and regularly advises clients on various domestic and cross border deals. Vishal’s formative years as a lawyer trained him well in transactional documentation which is very valuable to the firm’s corporate, real estate and banking practice.

Vishal is involved in transactional and advisory matters including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity and investment funds, including cross border inbound and outbound investment transactions. He has also advised clients on various commercial documents including, service agreements, brand licensing, sale purchase agreements, franchise and distribution and technology agreements.

Vishal has expertise in advising and negotiating several real estate transactions which include sale deeds, lease deeds, joint development agreements, redevelopment agreement, detailed title verifications, and he has also advised clients on various allied laws including laws regulating trusts, successions, co-operative societies and other local land laws of Gujarat and Maharashtra.

Vishal’s banking and finance experience includes advising on both domestic loans and external commercial borrowings, restructuring and consortium finance. He has substantial experience in drafting and negotiating the facility agreements, security and other related documents in debt transaction, and regularly advises clients on India’s Foreign Exchange Management laws, and particularly its External Commercial Borrowing Regulations.
